Brianna N. Campbell

Hi there. My name is Brianna, and I’m an assistant attorney at Janko Family Law. Prior to working in family law, I worked as a public defender here in Colorado Springs protecting the constitutional rights of low-income clients facing criminal charges. Before that, I studied law at Northwestern School of Law in Chicago, IL. Before making the transition to law, I spent time thinking, reading and writing about the ethics of parenthood, the moral (il)legitimacy of just and unjust laws, and Leibniz’s metaphysics as an academic philosopher at Northern Illinois University in Dekalb, IL. Before practicing academic philosophy, I taught English, Math and Computer Studies at Chasefu primary school as a Peace Corps volunteer near Lundazi, Zambia.

I aim to make sincere connections with people in advocating for their interests. As a new mother and child of divorced parents myself, I know how overwhelming divorce proceedings can feel. In my role, I enjoy guiding clients through the legal process and providing the comfort that comes from knowing what to expect; working towards a resolution that both advances and protects my clients’ interests while keeping family relationships intact; and, if necessary, using the law to zealously fight for my clients’ rights and interests at trial.
